Ao alugar uma viatura Hertz poderá adicionar a opção de Compra de Combustível (FPO), desta forma usufrui do seu aluguer e entrega o veículo sem ter de se preocupar em abastecê-lo previamente.
Esta é a forma mais cómoda e flexível de usufruir do seu aluguer com tranquilidade, evitando suplementos em caso de incumprimento e o constrangimento de procurar pelo posto de combustível mais próximo antes de devolver a viatura. No entanto, informamos que o valor do combustível não utilizado não será devolvido após o término da sua reserva.
When renting a Hertz vehicle, you can add the Fuel Purchase Option (FPO). This allows you to enjoy your rental without worrying about refueling before returning the car. It’s the most convenient and flexible way to make the most of your rental with peace of mind, avoiding extra charges for non-compliance and the hassle of searching for a nearby gas station before drop-off. However, please note that any unused fuel is non-refundable after your reservation ends.

Para todos os alugueres de viaturas Hertz, imediatamente antes da devolução da viatura terá de reabastecê-la num posto de combustível mais próximo.
For all Hertz vehicle rentals, you must refuel the car at the nearest gas station right before returning it.
Suplemento em caso de incumprimento
Non-Compliance Fee
Caso não adquira a opção de Compra de Combustível (FPO) e não consiga reabastecer a viatura antes de entregá-la, será cobrado um suplemento referente ao combustível em falta e ao serviço de conveniência de ser a Hertz a reabastecer o combustível por si.

If you do not purchase the Fuel Purchase Option (FPO) and are unable to refuel the vehicle before returning it, an additional fee will be charged to cover the missing fuel and the convenience service of Hertz refueling the car for you. Learn more about the refueling fee here. Adding the Fuel Purchase Option (FPO) to your rental exempts you from these additional charges.
